Amasra is a beautiful place to spend a few days, and a great base to visit surrounding towns and historic sites. I highly recommend a day trip to Safranbolu.
The room is very centrally located right above the main bazaar in the historic part of Amasra. You can see part of the ancient city wall from the balcony. Local produce makers and a fabulous bakery is just metres from the front door.
We were made feel very welcome by Sefer and the local shop owners. There is paid parking right next door, you will need to reserve a space.
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. There is a fridge and kettle in the room.
A recently renovated property, Hostel Amasra is located in Bartın near Buyuk Liman Beach, Amasra Beach and Marina. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Nice town and it had a pleasant feel about it. Nice restaurants and plenty of choice. Quaint shops and interesting places to walk around. Beach could do with some cleaning of rubbish but otherwise I would definitely visit Amasra again. We had kahvalti at one lokanta which was excellent and ate at two fish restaurants which were both good and value for money.

The view is nice from the hotel and parking there is a breeze. The owner Mehmet and his family are truly amazing hosts, super friendly and extremely helpful. They have the best advise on where to go in Amasra and also with your further travels in Turkey. The breakfast in the morning is unbelievable and so fresh, the best in Turkey ;) There is honestly no better place to stay when you are in Amasra.
Wonderful hotel on the water at the quiet end of town. Staff were excellent and obviously well trained. Breakfast was great. Our room was right on the sea front with a balcony. There are 6 of the rooms. Others are closer to the pool. Loved it all.
