I recently stayed at this hotel for 1 night, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, worth every penny. Much smaller bedrooms than they appear I'm the pictures. There is just one outdoor front porch in this small bed a d breakfast place. Super quite, amazing views, great service. Will visit again but will have lower expectations for the size of the units.

Lovely place to escape to when you want to get away from the...
Lovely place to escape to when you want to get away from the madness of Istanbul.
It has a lot of derelict but gorgeous buildings, a lot of history, beautiful mansions and buildings and is just a cute lil place to go for a walk or ride a bike. Many of the cafes, restaurants etc are by the seafront so a nice view with your raki and fish.

As a small island, it's possible to get around the whole place by bike in a couple of hours. There are a lot of beaches, but most of them require payment. It's a day trip, but if you are there for a couple of nights then you can visit more than one of the islands.

Adalar is a great place to unwind.
Adalar is a great place to unwind. Having said that, there are frequent boats into Istanbul (and other islands) if you want some more activity/sightseeing etc. Chilled experience - we ate in various places in town. I'd probably avoid those overlooking the sea ... places in the streets behind are less touristy, better value and generally provide a nicer experience. There are good buses, although we walked everywhere - and there are loads of places to hire bicycles. Generally a lovely place to chill, do a bit of exercise and have a slower pace of holiday life.

We had a very pleasant 5-day holiday at No 16 Ada. Our host was extremely helpful, very pleasant and made us feel at home. The Turkish breakfast was outstanding. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area.
Büyükada is a great location for a brief autumn holiday, nice walks, good restaurants, interesting old houses in the main town, good and very affordable ferry connection to Istanbul, that run late into the evening.
The hotel is located in a nice location and has access to beach. The food was delicious served by friendly restaurant staff. However, the staff at the reception is not responsive and the facility and rooms were in general crummy.
Amazing experience on the Princess island. Nice building carefully and automatically restored. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. And the last but not the least - the balcony on the 2nd floor with a view.
Food was very good. Excellent dinner in the restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. We hiked across the island and found much nicer beaches on the other side.
