Fantastic views, gorgeous room, wonderful food,, strong hot water. Rafik is a treasure, and the short walking tour he gave us around the village was terrific, highlighting things we certainly would not have noticed on our own. The rest of the staff is great, too.

Wow! What an incredible experience. The room, dining room and entire property is a fantastic display of what a modern version of typical homes from the area look like. Patrick and Sabrine are incredible hosts - we had a plan for our stay and Patrick ran us through the absolute highlights and route we should take - and he was right. We loved our two night stay and saw a lot on our day trip. Sabrine's cooking is phenomenal and easily the best on our stay in Tunisia. Breakfast is also amazing and has a great variety too. We learned a lot about the country and history while here. We will be recommending this to everyone and will be staying again when we return to Tunisia. Thank you Patrick and Sabrine.

The host was exceedingly charming and welcoming. I appreciated his kindly giving us a tour of the property. We were lucky that there was no one else staying so we had far more space than we would have had otherwise with exclusive use of the sitting room, kitchen, dining room, and terrace overlooking all of Matmata.
The breakfast was enough for 6 with a wide selection of juices, fruit, a fresh baguette, butter and jams, cheeses, and coffee and warm milk in carafes!
The Internet connection was very fast - hooray!
We were able to check in extremely easily which was a relief for my husband.
The price was extraordinarily reasonable if not dirt cheap coming from the United States!
