This is a lovely hotel with wonderful friendly and efficient staff. They are all delightful and too many names to mention.
The rooms are very comfortable indeed, with a large bathroom and we really appreciated the bath as well as the separate shower and a balcony. There is a good size walk in wardrobe and you are greeted with local treats.
The food at the hotel is excellent, from breakfast to the three restaurants and the lobby lounge. We particularly enjoyed our meal at the Tunisian restaurant and the "lamb in a clay pot" experience. It was great fun and not something we experienced during our other three weeks in Tunisia. At breakfast we were bought local specialities to try when we expressed an enjoyment of the food.
The outside pool area is very large and pleasant and very well maintained but it was too cold during our stay to use. The beach was large with umbrellas and would be wonderful in the warmer seasons.
We loved the indoor pool and particularly appreciated that no children are allowed except between 8 and 10 am - thank you! It was lovely to enjoy the peaceful area, swim in peace and use the hamman and steam room downstairs.
We came back again for dinner at L'Olivier on Christmas evening, which was a lovely meal with excellent service. This is a fabulous hotel that can be highly recommended....
