the host and his father were very kind and really helpful…e.g they helped me to arrange an (enough) long taxi ride from Khujand to the Tajik/Uzbek border in Sarazm (to Samarqand, where I am now, writing from Registon)..they offered me with my complete surprise a traditional homemade Tajik dish and I was very happy !
