21-23 December 2024. Booked via booking.com. We were greeted by a friendly host. She was so kind to ask what we would like to have for lunch and breakfast. Both meals were delicious and came with deserts and drinks. Room was downstairs. Large, clean and nice. Loved her entire farmstay as it was quiet and peaceful. The host is a very nice person and cared for our stay and meals. Highly recommended for visitors around Phrao.

I`m personally attracted by hotels in a natural setting. Royal Ping Garden is one of those. Few hotels can claim to have a genuine natural environment including the sounds and scents that are part of that. The well designed wooden lodges are tasteful and attractive. The rooms are comfortable.

The view from 467 is the best view we experienced in Chiang Dao. The whole place is super clean and airy. The owners are super friendly. They organised hiking with a local guide that finished at the hot springs, which I highly recommend. The atmosphere at 467 is so tranquil and peaceful we wished we'd stayed longer.

The Yatika Boutique is a gorgeous property with luxurious rooms and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were as lovely, friendly and helpful as can be including those who work in the wonderful restaurant.

Kai, who owns the property, told me her parents built these huts on this beautiful land. The scenery is spectacular. Waking up to a lush green garden beneath with a layer of morning fog - as the sun starts to rise and the fog disappears, you can get a glimpse of the beautiful mountain ranges and the town below; whilst enjoying beautifully prepared breakfast by Kai. If you want simplicity and peace, this is the place to find that. Chirping birds and crickets all around. The sound of farmers working in the nearby distance and a faint roar of the motorbikes is all you can subtly hear. Even though the huts are simple, they are well curated, thoughtful and very clean. I loved the rural-ness, it felt very nostalgic and I am truly humbled by Kai’s hospitality. Wish I could have stayed longer!
