The moment you enter the property car park you encounter the stunning design of the property. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. The rooms are small, but excellently designed for maximum efficiency of space, all whilst being extremely aesthetically pleasing. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is great, and there is air-con! The attention to detail overall is excellent!
Within the property there is an outstanding restaurant on the bank of the river, we ate dinner there as the sunset and the food was incredible! Breakfast is selected the day before and served at a time of your choice, either to your room or the restaurant. The breakfast was also delicious and the service was faultless. I highly recommend you stay a night here if you get the chance!

The value for the price is one of the best in Ayutthaya from the hotels from medium range prices. The price is great, the 7-11 is 1min away, the staff is very kind and friendly, room is so clean, balcony, comfortable bed, the hotel is away from the road so u won't hear any noise. Location it's depends on the own needs. Around 15-20min from minivan station, 15min walk to daily market and around 30-40min for the night market. 30min walk to train station. In my opinion better waste few minutes to travel out/in to hotel but having clean, safe and comfortable night.

Ayutthaya was an amazing experience - after visiting Thailand hundreds of times over 40 years - I finally made it there. It was tranquil, beautiful, romantic and incredibly interesting. Easy to get to from Bangkok by train - well worth considering!

Fantastic historical city, recommend taking morning river trip to various temples , accessible and cooler first thing. Also restaurants on the river bank for eating, use tuk tuk togetaround, they park right outside the hotel and know where to go quickly

We spent an evening and a morning here.
We spent an evening and a morning here. We arrived mid-pm direct from DMK Bangkok airport by train which took less than an hour and cost less than a pound. We went to a temple for sunset, visited a busy night market and had dinner by the river. Next am we drove around in a tuk tuk for 3 hours and visited nearly all the temples. Hot work but totally rewarding. I guess with more time we'd have done the museum as well although there's a lot of Ayutthaya to see in the National Museum in Bangkok.

Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place. You can even dress up and get photo in traditional dress, or kick back in a local bar along one of the canals or go to the little floating market or the night market. Fun place, but lots of walking. Good value for money paid.

Great stay.
Great stay. We needed a few extra days to get around due to an elderly traveller however would recommend 2-3 days here, and a mix of night time and day visits to the temples. This is true old school Thailand, friendly, laidback and local pricing away from awful advantages tourism (sex, drugs, fire twirling)

The historical sites are interesting, and there are a variety of ways to see them. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and most drivers speak some English. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver to take you to see various sites, the rates is 300 baht per hour. You can also visit l the sites individually and get a tuk tuk for about 100 baht. There is also the option of walking. Several sites are in close proximity and are easily walked or bikes can be rented, if you prefer. There is also a nice boat roar that will take you to various sites along the river for 200 baht per person. The boat trip lasts for a couple of hours.

Baan Penny was a perfect home away from home. Gerhard was a wonderful host and made sure we had all we needed for a the best of Ayutthaya. Motorbike and bicycles available to explore the nearby temple complexes and river with giant monitor lizards. Great food and restaurant market for exploring and dinner. Delicious breakfast at the hotel in a very relaxing environment yet nearby all the best of Ayutthaya. Would definitely stay here again!
I recently stayed at a hotel with a very large and spacious room. The highlight for me was the swimming pool, which is almost 50 meters long. Swimming 2-3 laps there was quite a workout! Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The room was clean, smelled nice, and the staff were attentive
One downside is that it's a long way from Wat Na Phra Men, where Lisa once visited. However, this didn't detract much from the overall experience.
this hotel was one of our favourites on our trip through thailand. the rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were really comfortable. the family who owns the hotel are so accommodating, friendly and give you a bowl of fresh fruit everyday which is a nice extra! they also have bikes to rent for really cheap which are great to get around Ayutthaya. Good location, would definitely stay again! :)
Charming boutique hotel, in a prime location at a walking distance of several temples and the Ayutthaya night market (our prefered one in two weeks in Thailand). Friendly staff and delicious coffee to be taken on the terrasse next to the river.

The mother/daughter hosts are probably some of the most accomodating and nicest folks I've met in Thailand so far. They were extremely helpful in directing me to the various sites and on the last day of my trip arranged for a Tuk Tuk to take me to Ang Tong to see the big gold Buddha at Wat Traimit.

Simply perfect: good location, comfortable bed, good shower, delicious breakfast and diner included (plus some snacks) and available bikes for rent. The hosts were incredibly nice and took good care of the guests. They even helped me plan the next step of my travel. A very good memory in my trip through Thailand. Khop khun mak kha! :)

What a wonderful hotel, one of the nicest places we have stayed at during our many visits to Southeast Asia. A beautiful oasis in the middle of the city, so lush and peaceful - simply wonderful! The staff were lovely and helpful all throughout our stay and the food was super delicious! We will surely stay there again!!!
Fun experience for the family. The staff was friendly, location was great, facilities were a lot of fun and the overall feel of the facilities matched the experience of being close to the ancient palace. We rode bikes from the hotel to the ancient city very easily. Would stay again.

Comfiest beds so far in Thailand. Bike hire on site made visiting far-flung temples easy. Close enough to walk to the closest wats. Vegetarian food available at restaurants of Malakor and Heritage Indian. Would definitely use again. Walkable from the train station.
Overall, everything is very good. Polite staff, very good service, clean accommodations, convenient location for traveling. Not far from tourist attractions The hotel area is very shady and will definitely go back to stay again.
the hotel is located in the old island where we can cycle to the historical park easily. The atmosphere and architecture are beautiful and embedded in the historical theme. The breakfast was great and the staff are very friendly.
