Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort, hotel in Panwa Beach

The Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort is a contemporary-design beachfront retreat located by the scenic Makham Bay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pullman Panwa Hotel in Phuket, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. A special shout-out to Atchi, who was incredibly helpful and kind during our check-in process, making us feel instantly at home. The food was an absolute highlight—beyond excellent! Congratulations to the sublime chef, Mr. Kauder, whose culinary creations were both delicious and beautifully presented. Every meal was a delight, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors that left us eager for the next dish. The hotel’s location was serene and picturesque, offering a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city. It's also a very kids-friendly hotel, which is wonderful for families. However, for guests without children, it may take a few days to fully adapt to the lively atmosphere created by younger guests. While this wasn’t a major issue, it’s something to consider if you’re seeking a more tranquil, adults-only environment. One minor downside was the tide, which impacted the water clarity during our stay. Of course, this is entirely beyond the hotel’s control and didn’t detract from the overall beauty of the surroundings. Overall, we had a wonderful and pleasant experience at Pullman Panwa and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Phuket.

Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket, hotel in Panwa Beach

Cape Panwa Hotel where a long, sandy, private beach and the nearby shade of the hillside coconut plantation enhance a truly tropical feel.

We spent 7 nights at this ocean front hotel. We paid extra to upgrade our room to be closer to the ocean side, most rooms have a nice view of the ocean. Lush hotel grounds. There is a little tram you can use to get up/down to the beach. Good breakfast selection, especially the energy booster shot. Their coffee machines keep breaking. Food was good, cocktails from the beach bar were just okay. Lots of mosquitoes. Quite a steep, narrow road to get to the hotel from the main road. I think it’s a bit over price for what you get out of this place.

It was a very refreshing stay in the property which was full of greenery and good views of beach from the huge balcony attached to the suite. Did not want to leave the property so early and definitely want to come back again.

An excellent hotel: we had a room on the 3rd floor with balcony, overlooking the garden and a view of the sea. Pleased there was a lift. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety. Staff were excellent, all of them, I use a walking stick and they always rushed to help me with steps, stairs and getting my breakfast. I can't praise them highy enough. The pool area was nice and well looked after and the "library" was a nice, relaxing large room where free tea, coffee and biscuits were provided; a good place to refresh after a few hours by the pool. The shuttle over to the sister hotel ran regularly and the beach was also over there, with lovely grassy surrounds, plenty of loungers and umbrellas and a nice restaurant and facilities. Back at Kantary Bay there were several local restaurants which we used, and liked them all. The night market along the beachfront was interesting although I was surprised they would not really bargain. There were many street-food stalls along there also, providing a good variety of food. We had 16 days at Kantary Bay and loved it - felt very relaxed after such a nice holiday.

It’s so far from the main city and the amount you pay for up and taxi can be used to stay in a better hotel in the city. Rooms are very old .. looks like very old building fitted with some lights and a bathroom. They badly need to renew therooms. It has to be brightly lit.

Very disapointing I came with high expectations and they were not fullfiled: 1. The staff at the front desk were not friendly at all. I arrived after a long flight to Thiland and hardly a smile from any of the receptionists. I was looking for some attractions to do and was looking through their book for about half an hour trying to decide what to choose. No one aproached or tried to help or offer advice. That happened twice. 2. It was my birthday, and a family member from US waned to order a surprise cake for me. He called me up to ask if I got it, I had no idea what he was talking about, aperantly they just left it in the room fridge without notifying me at all + did no add the note he asked to print for me. 3. When I arrived I asked where can I change money. The receptionist said "turn right and walk 10 minutes" , the problem is after you start going right, there are 2options of turns and no one to ask as there is litrelly nothing around. They could be a bit more specific.. 4. I had some ants in the room+ 2 baby spiders. I understand this is a tropical island and yet this is a 5 star resort. 5. There is no gegi milk option in the restaurant for coffee. Only cow milk. I woul think in 2023 there ould be at least one other option for vegans. 6. There is more but I made my point..

My wife and I rate this beach experience as excellent for swimming (but not for surfing!), and although best not to swim at lower tides due to the exposed reef, medium and hight tides are excellent. It's safe , protected from the surf, and clean for kids and beginner swimmers. Best things are the great service provided by the KANTARY hotel (by a covered vehicle), departing every 15 minutes, and the free towels (for Kantary guests) and affordable restaurant at the Panwa Beach, located just over the hill.

Panwa Beach is very peaceful, away from the crowds, but not dead. There are people walking along the beach and a handful of bar/restaurants along the shore, but it isn't too loud or crazy at night. A nice peaceful getaway. As for the swimming, maybe not the best as the ground under the water along the beach seemed to have a lot of large rocks and other items in it. I wouldn't exactly recommend it for swimming. But for relaxing, boating, getting a few drinks, it's great. My recommendation would be to stay at a resort/hotel along Panwa and renting a car so that you can drive to other beaches for swimming, such as Ya Nui beach.

I have mobility problems and villa was located on ground floor which meant I had easy access to the garden, beach and sea. Close access to local restaurants. If you want peace and quiet, then this is the perfect place. I used a travel agency in the village (Salika Tour) for taxi to Old Phuket and travel to Phi Phil islands (transport to and from villa to port (including ferry and speed boat) who were very professional.

Location of the property is in very quite, lovely place with, amazing views. We have been on Phuket on low season and it was the best beach and best ocean condition we manage to find on low season, and we had a car and travel a lot. If you going to rent a car and going on low season it's the place to go. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, spacious and light.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with very clean, modern and spacious rooms. Located in a more quiet area of Phuket. Perfect for couples. Breakfast was great and the My Cafe menu was nice as well. Would definitely be back. Comparing Panwa beach to Kata or Patong beach - it wasn’t as nice, but the pool area is absolutely fabulous.

There was hardly anything not to like nor missing. From drinking a cocktail, relaxing at the pool or the seaside to using the kayaks to paddle onto the still ocean. The perfect mix of relaxation and having Phuket old town around the corner.
