The view was fantastic and tight on the beach...room was very very basic.. it was very cheap so for the amount of time we spent in our room it was good value for money

Communication with the host was really good. She helped us when we had to stay one day longer bacause of the bad weather and with a lot of other things during our stay.
She was good reachable (whatsapp) just like the maintenance guy. The accomodation is near the beach in an area that’s under construction with really nice beach houses 😍

Olga was very friendly and helpful, made it easy to check-in by myself. the room was clean and fully equipped for any needs. WIFI was also good. 50 meters from the beach, you can hear the waves breaking from the room.

If you expect luxury, dont. However, it's very cosy, on a perfect spot and the staff is extremely nice. No restaurant or possibility of breakfast, coffee,,.. its not rrally a “resort”, its a better hostel… but its charming…

Koh Phangan is a VERY popular and busy island, so it’s really advisable to stay in the north-west if you enjoy sleep. This guesthouse is in that quieter area. You won’t regret it. Rent a bike and you can explore the whole island from there. VERY comfortable room and bed with Egyptian cotton linen!

great location at the beach with an amazing sunset, amazing beach restaurant, lovely stuff
Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

Great location within walking distance to Mae Haad beach. Very quite and peaceful place, nice mountains view from outside seating area. At the time of our stay (March 2024) we could even see the sunset straight from the villa.
The property is well-equipped, comfy and clean, wifi is great. There was regular (once in a 4 days) rooms and pool cleaning. The pool is nice and clean and water was of a pleasantly cool temperature.
Overall it was a great stay, would definitely recommend this property.
While at Maehaad Guesthouse I got an infection and a very high fever. I messaged the hotel, as I thought it could have been COVID, to ask for an antigens test and they brought it for me and also some over the counter medicine. I'm really grateful.
The location of the hotel and the rooms are beautiful. The cleaning staff very nice and accommodating. the room is a good size and comfortably furnished. Pool is nice
