They've recently installed good walking sidewalks near the Robinson and El Paseo shopping centers which makes the area much much more walkable. The Robinson Lifestyle shopping center is one of the best in Bangkok. The Villa Market in El Paseo is a great Falang supermarket with high quality local products and lots of iimported items.

I downloaded the "Grab" app. It is just like an uber for transportaion away from the area. For example I visited the Grand Palace. Only a 2 minute walk was an amazing Spa for Massage and other services and another 15 minutes walk a mini mall and Thai Food Street.

This hotel is located near Bangkok Airport, about 5 km away. Suitable for travelers who have a transit of ten hours or a day. The staff is very nice and the hotel in general is excellent. The room is spacious, the WiFi is fast and the bed is comfortable... They have a really great airport shuttle anytime for about 200 baht. They also accept payment by Visa card. This was a huge relief for me, as I had never changed currency in Thailand.....

Room and facilities very clean. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Someone in reception 24 hrs so felt very safe. Staff provide transport to nearby airport by arrangement for 100bt, also to Lat Krabang train station for access to Bangkok city centre. Also provided help by printing off travel documents. Nearby Seven Eleven shop, some street food and restaurants nearby. Coffee and snacks available in pleasant reception area.
It was only 15 mins from airport by hotel bus. Being only a few steps away from a night market made the stay unique for an airport hotel. The outside dining area next to a Klong was interesting and the food was good too.
Large rooms that were connected. Very little outside noise. Some noise from the hallway, but that can be expected from an airport hotel.
Shuttle service very good and punctual. Easy taxi service to BTS station.
