Nice modern hotel we had a corner suite big balcony over looking the pool and a big room bathroom was nice and very clean, two bottles of water every day . Breakfast was ok egg station 3 typs of fresh fruit coffee tea also Thai selection. Restaurant food is good well cooked we liked eating in the hotel restaurant. Across the road is a Thai eatery which is very good and cheap. Pool towels available a few sunbeds but was never a problem getting two in the afternoon. Nice walk up the river .

The location was great - next to the park, there were a lot of options for sport activities. Very calm, quiet area with a lot of animals (birds can disturb the long sleepers). Around 25 minutes walk to the city centre. May go to the beach easily by taxi, boat or public transport. If you are lucky, may see monkeys in the park as well as the expierence locals' birthday celebration in the restaurant next to the hotel. Very clean, shower was perfect with option to regulate the pressure and temperature.

The location was good, with a lot of things nearby, the food market, the riverside, and shops.
It was very, the shared bathroom was cleaned daily very methodically by the young gentleman.
The room was also clean, comfortable, big, and not so hot.
On the 1st floor you have some tables, water heater and microwave, but no water dispenser. We had the room on the 3rd floor, so take this possibility to consider if you have issues.
The wifi was good. They have an exchange office, and after the number of people we saw, they probably have a good rate. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, quiet and comfortable.

Very clean and spacious beautiful rooms with balcony, keytle, fridge,free drinking water provided everyday, minibar at extra cost,safe, big beautifull bathrooms with hot water and quality toiletries.Housekeeping eveyday if you need at no extra cost, beach towels down at the reception. They also have their own bistro bar with 10% discount .The location is 2 min away from Ao Nang beach,but away from the noise of the main street. The staff is just lovely and helpfull and made our stay enjoyable.The only down side is that there’s no elevator, so if you travel with big suitcases you’ll have to lift it up the stairs, other than that everything was perfect and would definitely recommend and come back here. Thank you Aonang Inn for the warm welcome and for your services. It was great 😊

Check in was easy , even though we were early , they let us get into our room so we could begin exploring . Our room was a good size , with great mattresses and bedding , which you really appreciate after a month of travelling.
Staff was very friendly , roof top pool was exactly as shown. Breakfast was only okay.

It is a 10 min easy walk to any of the three good night markets. It’s a 5 min walk to the Krabi high speed ferry pier or Longtail boats. 5 min walk to 7/11.

For me, Krabi town is a great center area. Maybe I went there during low peak season so that its comfortable for me especially when driving. But seems like at night the market close earlier than i thought. Not so lively. But when I go to Ao Nang, its really lively and fun.

We stayed one night in Aonang, and 2 nights in Krabi Town. There’s lots to do here so I would recommend you stay for 4 nights, as we felt we could have benefitted from one more night.
Railay Beach is a must and is only 10-15 minutes by boat from Aonang Beach and costs 200BHT for a return. The boats run frequently throughout the day.
Tiger Temple is worth it for the view, but the walk/steps to it is very tiresome, so I would suggest comfortable footwear, water, and going at a time when the sun is not at its hottest. Not suitable for those who are less able bodied.
There are plenty of Night Markets, we particularly liked Krabi Walking Street. And lots of great cafes available for good food (Much & Mellow and Cafe 8.98 were two of our favourites!)
Grab / Bolt is the cheapest and easiest way to get around, but there are also Tuk Tuks.

Central location away from the noise and tumult of the coast but which was close enough to visit for the wonderful attractions. Old town still very Thai which we enjoyed. Lots of markets activity but not many restaurants for variety of western foods. If you love cheap street food (both thai and halal) this is the place for you but after a week we searched for something else. We were pleased we stayed there as we love Thailand and its a great example of the "real" Thailand.

The morning market is a must see and the bead museum is very interesting. In the shop, they will make up jewellery to order from locally made beads for very small amounts of money and you will have something that is truly unique.

This hotel is one of the best accommodations we had during our one-month trip in Thailand. The room was big, nice, clean and modern. In the room there is a small fridge, water, instant coffee, towels and toiletries. Downstairs there is a restaurant and coffee machine. The hotel Manager is a very helpful person, very nice and professional. He will definitely advise you and take care of your good stay. Possible to buy a tour and ferry ticket at the reception. The location is also excellent. I can really recommend this place.
The hotel is away from the crowd and location could not have been any better. It’s just a few mins away from restaurants, Krabi town and 20 mins ride/drive to Ao Nang Beach from where the boat tours to different islands are arranged. The staff team is super helpful and two wheeler rentals are available at the property. Breakfast options are really good.
Perfectly located and very well maintained. The sound insulation is very good, you cant hear the road but you can hear inside the hotel corridors.
Stairs and low shower pressure are common in hotels in Thailand so its not suprising. Bed was actually soft and the room was super clean.
The host is a super friendly Thai woman who made our stay just perfect. She helped us get the visual glasses we forgot at ao nang pier, invited us to a delicious homemade dinner in the hotel garden. Thank you so much for being such a friendly person!
Golden Hill Hotel offered some of the best nights sleep in Thailand so far. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel itself is relaxing and peaceful!
There is a nice pool just outside and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
