I loved the bungalows. The beds are really comfortable, and sheets are changed regularly. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next year, I even stayed 3 extra days.

This hotel is simply amazing. It has a beachfront location on one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been on. Each bungalow has a massive floor to ceiling window in front of the bed opening out onto the balcony and directly onto the beach. This felt so private and yet just a few yards from the most beautiful clear water and white powdery sand. We loved the room itself; the decor was amazing and we loved having a bathtub as well as a shower. Staff at the hotel were great and offered us complimentary transfers as well as complimentary shuttle bus into town each night. Even if you don’t take a shuttle; such is the location that you can easily walk into the Main Street on Lipe. The breakfast was lovely and was delivered to your room to have on your balcony at no extra cost. We loved this hotel; it’s one of our favourite hotels ever on one of our favourite islands and we would love to return here.

If you like crowded overpriced places , with beaches and water packed with longboats and streets full of shopping .restaurants and side mopeds zooming up and down . Then this is the place for you . The sand is white and there is a local feel in places particularly if you get away from the main beaches but the island has lost its soul years ago and has a lot of rubbish. The locals are more friendly and less business like compared to other places in Thailand .
Snorkelling is good if you hire a boat to go out and you can rent kayaks .
Shame you pay 200 baht when you land that goes no where to protecting the reefs or the island

We stayed in Ko Lipe 2016 when the beaches were still clean and now again in November 2024. We were hoping that that was still the case since the island is located in a National Park and we were disappointed with other beaches around Thailand. While some beaches (Pattaya and the little beach at Sanom Beach Lipe Resort) are still fairly plastic free, the other beaches don't seem to be taken care off. I don't know why resorts don't spend the time to pick up plastic waste. We participated in one cleaning activity that seemed to be organized by the local authorities, but it would be nice if more would be done. Trash cans around beaches and the island would be really helpful and a good first step, so people have a place to deposit their trash... Other than the trash which sadly you will find in most places around the world, we still enjoyed our time on the island. Snorkeling was really nice and the walking street has some cute restaurant. This island is family friendly.

Only a short 1.5hr fast ferry trip from Langkawi, Malaysia. Beaches were clean and the village was clea of rubbish. Walking street is very touristy, food is okay but most cater for tourists. Good locl restaurants can be found outside Walking Street. Taxi's always available even at small quite beaches, easy way to get arround the island. Scuba Diving was good, about 15 to 20mtrs visabiity, and water temp was 31Degs celcius. Locals very frendly.

Stayed 2 nights but would’ve liked 3 or 4 as it was a relaxing place to sunbathe and swim. It’s a small island so would’ve been nice to explore and maybe find some empty beaches.
The massage at the hotel on the beach was very good.
Travelled by Tigerline Ferries from Krabi (small speedboats) via Koh Lanta. Took 6.5 hours in total so a very long day and would choose a different route next time.

Little, which mean you can walk everywhere, relaxing but if you want to party you can.
The beaches are beautiful, the people that live in the island amazing, food is great.

I enjoyed my time at the Anda Lipe resort. The room, bathroom and balcony were very spacious. The breakfast was tasty and with a good selection (could have been served warmer and no pastries though). The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure and hot water. I like its location at the southern end of Sunrise beach. The staff were also exceptional, each and every one of them.
The resort occupies one of the best parts of sunrise beach. Large expanse of quality beach which gets the sun most of the day. A very relaxed ambience and all kept beautifully clean.
Comfortable and spacious rooms with a lovely view of the beach. Comfortable bed, good Aircon. The bathroom was a bit 1950s but everything worked.
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Akira Lipe Resort, the whole area is absolutely beautiful, the pools are fantastic and the staff are all incredibly polite. The hotel is right next to the speedboat drop off point and a lovely 2min walk from Walking Street - we can't wait to return to this resort in the future.
