We liked the room, it was spacious and with great big bathroom. Our stay was just one night, and we wanted to travel to beach on the island, so we really just slept here. More than good for that.

The view, the facilities, the infinity pool, the incredible wood-work. It's like a fairy tale to be there! As there are only a few activities offered on site, the place is ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday for couples and young families, good price for value.
On average, 3-star hotels in Ko Yao Yai cost £62 per night, and 4-star hotels in Ko Yao Yai are £137 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Ko Yao Yai can on average be found for £212 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Great island to be on. Very calm atmosphere, nice beaches, much better than Phi Phi. If you want to go swimming, go to Lo Chak Beach (our favourite), or Loh Pared Beach. There are also some great restaurants.

THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!!
THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!! The owner and his family were so friendly and kind and could not help us enough. We hired a motorbike which was extremely well looked after and we were given some fuel too. There were laundry facilities for a small fee and complimentary water and coffee. The Pod we stayed in was immaculate and so wel built by the owner himself. Not only would I recommend the modern in but the whole island itself it was breathtakingly stunning along with the pods.

A relaxing place that is more small scaled than big resorts.
A relaxing place that is more small scaled than big resorts. That makes a huge difference. All the guests I saw seem to really enjoy their stay. The islands hopping trip was awesome. The pilot of the boat was very kind, the lunch we got was really nice.
A special thank to Fatima who does the Thai massages 💚 Better than a physiotherapist and listening to your needs. I recommend this resort with no hesitation 🙂

We were stay for the night but wish we had booked for much longer, we will definitely be back to explore more of the island as it was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at Santhiya and had such a wonderful time the trip was outstanding, I'd definitely recommend this little slice of paradise.

The food was excellent value for money, both breakfast and dinner. The host was so lovely, really helpful and kind. She organised a long tail boat trip for us to Hong Island and also took us and collected us from the pier. We had a fabulous day thanks to her. She also organised for us to have a massage in our room. She always went above and beyond to help.

A great island, just like other Thai islands used to be before they became too busy with large hotels. Quiet beaches and friendly locals.
The relatively long speed boat journey from Phuket will prevent large groups from visiting: a real positive! Worth taking a trip around the island to discover how the local economy still works.

The place is just amazing, with an incredible view both from the main area and the bungalow. The staff has to be the nicest and helpful we found in the whole Phuket area, they made sure we catched our boat when we checked out by calling the company and organizing the transfer without worrying about anything. Renting the scooter directly there is the best thing considering that the resort is isolated like most of the things in the island. Breakfast is huge with lot of choices and everything is super fresh is delicious.
Lovely, natural resort.
Despite of being such a green island and having lots of standing water all over the place, there were no mosquitos. None at all. (We must have been lucky and perhaps stayed just after the whole island having been sprayed? Do they do that?)
Oh, and the bed was comfortable. Thai resorts/hotels have these super hard beds. This place puts a soft overlay on top which creates the perfect bed. Firm hold but with a softer top layer.
Friendly staff and beautiful hotel restaurant, spa, and room. The evening entertainment (dj or live singing) was great! It's definitely the best hotel on the island.
