The facilities were great! Everything was very clean and modern. I also loved that it was on a quieter beach, it almost felt like a private one while still having plenty of bars and restaurants around as well. The breakfast buffet was large with tons of option including freshly made eggs, roti and a full grill menu.

Attentive and very friendly staff with sense of hour who made our stay very pleasant. They recommended restaurants and we were able to obtain scooters without a passport hold or deposit. Lovely location right on the beach with breakfast served every morning on our private patio table at time preferred by us. Warm water and clean beach with showers to rinse salt water.

The bamboo bungalow is very nice and vey well decorated, especially the soft lightning. As we faced a lot of rain, the Netflix connection came in very handy, but also sitting outside on the terrace watching the rain go by made the days very lazy. The restaurant was good, but there are also other places at walking distance worth to explore. The reception can take care of trips and transport to the ferry/airport, but a tuktuk on the road is also easy to catch.

Koh Lanta is my spiritual place. It’s so beautiful and quiet filled with nature,beautiful beaches and nice local people that help you with everything. The island is very big, there are tuk tuks everywhere or you can hire scooter or car. Could have stayed forever.

The resort was close to all amenities. Loved the street food and street food market. Resort was reasonably priced and lovely. We rented a motorcycle to get around the island. Took a fabulous cooking class with Time For Lime. It was so well done and we all learned a lot about Thai cooking. Highly recommend it.

I love this island.
I love this island. It has changed a lot in the last 20 years but it's still pretty quiet and not ruined like some others. Lots of beaches to choose from with Long beach being the best and plenty to do on the island. I had to use the medical centre which was excellent. it's super easy to get around by tuk tuk mostly. We did a cooking class at Time for Lime which was outstanding. We had the best breakfast at Fruit Tree Lodge. Lanta Old town is a cool place to visit. We also took a snorkelling trip to Ko Rok and Ko Ha. Amazing and highly recommended.

I was in Koh Lanta during the Boxing Day Indian Pcean tsunami. This trip 20 years later dispersed all the concerns I had about going back. I fell in love with Lanta again, especially Saladan. Old Lanta town and Klong Dso Beach.

There's a lot to do, some great restaurants and coffee shops...
There's a lot to do, some great restaurants and coffee shops, and the beaches are beautiful. Even though the town was packed with tourists over Christmas the beaches were not crowded. There are plenty of tuk tuk's and it is easy to hire a motorcycle to visit different parts of the island. Some of the roads are in bad repair though, so one has to be careful.
It appears to be an island catering to visitors of all ages; there were many family groups - (not just a 'party island'!) Although there is clearly huge amounts of fun to be had for the younger backpackers, with lots of hostels, tours and events.
I would recommend the island to anyone - I had a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lanta Palace. The hotel rooms and grounds are beautiful and the staff is very attentive. The beach is quiet and private. Having dinner right on the beach was a highlight, as was the relaxing massage in the cabana overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was very good. The location is so relaxing that you have to force yourself to leave and visit other places in Ko Lanta.
I liked knowing that it is a family business, it makes me feel good to contribute with the local people so that they continue to develop. WATTSON has been very kind and very helpful, the hotel is surrounded by a lot of vegetation , it’s quite close to the beach (Long Beach), in 5 minutes walking you are there. , thank you WATTSON I wish that the business continues to grow.
The room is ok for the price, it is spacious enough, nice and clean. The hotel owner is friendly and can book for you all the tours, rents a motorbike, transportation etc. at very good if not the best prices on the island.
The long beach is located about 6 min from the accommodation. There are a couple of good restaurants about 5-10min walking from the room.
We love Long Beach Chalet. The location is great, rooms are comfortable (not as cheap as when we visited a few years ago) and the hotel / breakfast staff are wonderful. They accommodated our preference to be upstairs. There are plenty of sun loungers to relax and watch the day go by.
Lovely rooms, great location and lovely staff. Long beach is an easy few minute walk from the hotel and is a fabulous beach for swimming. Plenty of restaurants and bars to pick from. Hotel can arrange taxi, motorcycle hire and tours. A great place to stay.
