Large self contained bungalow in a very peaceful part of the village with a lovely veranda. Rural setting, saw monkeys in the trees on the last morning. Delightful owner who coordinated a lake tour and onward travel for us and oversaw our departure for both.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. Felt totally relaxed and safe. The rooms are basic but have all you need and most importantly, were clean. Located next to the river on the edge of the rain forest, its a perfect way to start the morning with a wide choice and plentiful breakfast, with the option of ordering more whilst watching the monkeys across the river. Good selection of bars and restaurants to choose from in such a short walking distance. All the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, booked all our trips and transfers. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day. Huge thank you to you all for such a great stay.
Steps away from Klong Sok River, Khao Sok Morning Mist Resort features cosy bungalows with private balconies and the convenience of an on-site restaurant.

Top location in a wonderful palm forest. We arrived at 5:30 am and were greeted by our friendly host. The rooms are functional, some of them don't have AC, but all are well equipped with mosquito nets, fans, and a terrace/balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. If you are lucky, you can spot monkeys in the nearby palm trees. Breakfast and hot meals are served throughout the day and are very tasty! The owner and staff are very very friendly and help with every question or tour reservation. It's a 10 minute walk to the main street with restaurants and shops, and a 15 minute walkt to the entrace of the National Park. We enjoyed our stay very much and would always come back and recommend!

It was authentic. Description given was accurate. Could hear the sounds of various animals. Surrounded by jungle and a small stream running through. The landscape and cliff were spectacular.
The full day lake tour is incredible. It is a must do!

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked the 1 night 2 day tour of Khao Sok with the hotel and it all went so smoothly. The ladies at Bamboo huts were so helpful and arranged for our big backpacks to be transported to the bus for our onward travel. The accommodation in the hotel was basic but we had everything we needed and we were happy with everything.
Our accommodation on the lake was amazing, we were absolutely delighted with it and really enjoyed the 2 day tour of the lake

We had a really good stay here at Koh Sok Jungle Hostel, the beds were super comfortable, the showers and toilets were always kept clean and free water was available. Within really close distance to all the restaurants and shops.
The best part of the stay was the receptionist Nik, really funny and easy to get along with whilst still both professional and helpful! He sorted our trip for the 2 day tour overnight stay on the lake, a taxi to the bus station no hassle. 10/10 and he made the stay all the more better

The place is wonderful, but the local tourist guide mafia takes the magic out of it: you can't go anywhere nice, with your own pace, without paying for a tour or a guide. They did not find the budget to maintain the paths to the northern waterfall but they have it to build a giant locked door to prevent you from entering the "guide only" path (the key is behind the door, by the way).

The staff are incredibly dedicated to their job, and they will make everything possible to keep you happy! They speak English, and French fluently and are so smart and friendly!
The location is unique and despite the rainy season, we appreciated the view and the vibe.
If you want to observe Wildlife and Flora, it's the best place to go- don't be afraid of the snakes, we only saw one and he was far away! However, watch your outdoor breakfast: cheeky Macaques will be delighted to fill their stomach with a good meal!

The trip included local market stop off ahead of the park entry. This was nothing special. The boat trip took us across the lake to some favourite photo stops. This included a cave hike and little guillin rocks. The views were spectacular. The lunch stop allowed for a buffet. Plenty of food. Followed by swimming and kayaking (extra) This made for a pleasant alternative. In the afternoon there was an option to jungle hike via a waterfall trail including wildlife. For me this was the best part

This place seems to have become quite touristic.
This place seems to have become quite touristic. The one day tour is a sham. Long time traveling with some quick stops to take a quick picture. The cave is just walking in line to see a few bats. The jungle tour is just a hike though the jungle up a creek. All the animals have left here as probably 1000 people crush this path every day. I guess if you want to see some raw nature you have to hire a private guide for more days and go deeper and wait until all the day trippers have left.

Glamping at Khao Sok was an extraordinary experience that we can highly recommend (even more than staying at one of the floating hotels on Khao Sok lake). The tent is very comfortable and has good air conditioning. Apart from that the breakfast was really good and the staff was super friendly. They arranged a jungle tour and helped us very well booking a bus. The staff even waited outside to stop the bus.
Should definitely be more rated than a 2 star 'hotel'. It's more a 4,5.
This hotel is everything you would ever want. The workers are extremely nice and make you feel at home. The wifi is very good and the reception is an amazing place to work if you need to. The food is also tasty. The bungalows are peaceful and really close to the main street and the entry to the national park. They offer tours for a decent price. All in all, i would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Khao Sok.
Private and cosy cottages in the middle of the forest. Not far from Khao Sok and they even offer free shuttle to there.
The staff is so nice and friendly, they helped us to arrange everything from transport to activities.
I recommend booking lake tour from the cottages. The guide was funny and the accommodation on the lake was very pretty and comfortable.
Great rainforest hotel, well located for accessing the restaurants of Khao Sok and the national park. It has a great jungle mini golf, a large pool , and a water slide into the river... huge fun. We went tubing down the river from the hotel. There are monkeys everywhere so it feels as though you are deep in the jungle. Spacious and clean family room
Perfect bit of luxury after a day of trekking or staying on the lake in the national park - it was a serene area with modern facilities - staff were incredibly happy to accommodate you in any way they could
