Very friendly staff, who spoke a little English. // Instant coffee offee is a available in the mornings. // The fan-only rooms (mine was 109 on the ground floor) was only 370 baht (before b.com commission). // I was permitted to keep my bicycle in my room. // And the hotel was in easy walking distance of the train station and several eateries.

Great reception staff, with servicable English. The room was big - c.50m2 - and clean. En-suite bathroom, kettle ... all good! The breakfast was great - buffet, topped up with a separate meal from the menu, all included in the (very favourable!) price.

Our stay in Chumphon was exactly as we anticipated, our reason for visiting was to stay at fisherman’s home stay, which was superb, we stayed an extra night in the town to catch an early morning train to Trang, this allowed us to witness the people of Chumphon setting up the food markets at 03.00 in the morning, brilliant.

    Great place!

Great place! Great street food night market and shopping centres. We went to De Rust pub for dinner and watched a band one night. We really enjoyed our short time in Chumphon. Definitely make the trip to the viewpoint around 15mins outside of Chumphon, Definitely worth visiting!

We got an upgrade to poolview room.

We got an upgrade to poolview room. Spacious bedroom and big bed. Small outdated bathroom with curtain shower in bath tub. Not much waterpressure. Breakfast was poor, esp eccially for foreigners. No cheese, or ham. Dirty jams and peanut butter with a spoon dug in was not apealing. Croisants and cappuccino was ok though.

Only there overnight with my wife and three year old grandson. Yet I had to book two rooms because they couldn't or wouldn't cater for the child. No one in the reception until 08.00 am, the main gate was locked and although we had planned an early start (driving to Phuket) we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive. The property cant be described has a hotel, two rows of rooms Nd the location is poor. There will not be another visit and I would certainly not recommend to your readers.

There are some lovely beaches here.

There are some lovely beaches here. People are not that used to seeing western tourists, very little English spoken. Though those that do speak English are keen to practice. Restaurants were limited as were bars (due to covid). Ate in a local restaurant. Friendly ladies. Food all came out at different times (rice first, before the meat/fish dishes). Quite dark around the streets at night. We felt safe, but needed a torch.

Staff were fantastic very informative and generous providing a map of facilities and area, providing drip filter coffee pod things. Room had alot of free food (cakes, cereal etc) and drinks (water, tea, milo). Property looks beautiful, clean, new. Beds are very firm (standard for Thailand) but the extra bed we paid for my daughter was as hard as a rock. Room and bathroom very clean and look newly renovated. There is alit of common areas- we didn't see as we arrived late and left early the next day.

We enjoyed our stay, we used it as a base for the ferry to Koh Tao, however, we stayed for two nights and it was agreat start of our holiday. Around the hotel there is not much, which we liked. We were literally alone on the beach, in the near restaurant. We used the free bikes to explore the surroundings ( I really recommend going to see the Mu KoChumphon National Park and definitelly dont miss the Wat Tham Pong Pang temple on the beach). The facilities were great, huge rooms, comfy beds.

We had to go to Chumphon ferry port to catch the ferry to Koh Samui, so this was just a stop over. It presents as a motel not hotel facility, one room with bathroom - shower and toilet, sink was in the actual room where the bed was, with the front door directly on side pavement. Tea and coffee was outside on a table on the pavement not in your room. Facilities were clean.

It's quiet, has a good location on the main road, the owner is very friendly and accommodating, and it's full of cats! It's perfect for a budget traveller with good beds, good amenities, and all the basics you need. Will definitely stay again if I pass through Chumphon again :)

微笑 — The location of the Hotel is perfect—everywhere in town is within walking distance. It is one of the first Western-style hotels in Chumphon. The Hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly as usual.
