Great place for big groups. There were 14 of us and we occupied 6 of its 7 rooms. The rooms were big ang comfy! The pool was fun for the kids. The owners were the friendliest and most accommodating. Breakfast was great, too.

Going to be staying here for a lot longer periods of time!
Going to be staying here for a lot longer periods of time! Suits me as an older person-if you want the bright lights -they are a short drive away ( 20mins) -Local bars close at 12 at night. The area is busy during the day but not near the condo! Food at the Globe was really tasty and the fare on the beach at the Seaside restaurant yummy and well priced!

I have been coming to thailand for over 10 years and am convinced best/cleanest beaches are on the thai islands not here.
Make sure your hotel has good size pool.
Best options are in the bang saray cbd near the wharves and thai markets.

It was a sweet place.
It was a sweet place. The local people were kind and helpful. It was pleasant and had nice beaches close by. My problem as I am vegetarian was there were no veg restaurants. I found a couple of nice restaurants that had a few veg dishes but nothing vegan. it was a quiet get away kind of place that I would be happy to go to another time. I had a motorbike and was able to go to the super beach at the military base and was happy to watch the sunset there.

It’s not a busy town and they close at around 8.00pm.
It’s not a busy town and they close at around 8.00pm. People are friendly and it’s easy to get around on bikes, scooters or just Grab. The night market, beach, temple and the tasty seafood is just what you need for a few days of losing yourself.

nice beach, water not the clearest but still ok, nice places...
nice beach, water not the clearest but still ok, nice places to sit and eat right on the beachfront with shade and chairs (have to order food) along with coconut trees along the beach front, lovely to swim in and you can hire jet skis and go Parasailing etc , overall great stay although this time my son and I found a dead jelly fish washed up to shore which made us second guess going for a swim again but was only one and never encountered others or any live ones in the 2 seperate times we have visited.
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the 3-bedroom villa in Talay Sawan Village, and I am still basking in the warmth of the memories. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury, tranquility, and thoughtful design.
Villa located just in few minutes walk to Bang Sare beach. With serene atmosphere, clear waters, and less crowded environment compared to some of the more popular beaches in the region.
We had the pool to ourselves most of the stay, the staff was amazing, apart from one of the receptionist who checked us in, we had a nightmare checking in, this was to do with miscommunication on the hotels part, but was all good in the end. The staff in the restaurant and behind the bar were outstanding
