This is probably the most traditional establishment we stayed in while in Thailand, and the least like a Western Hotel. Having said that, it was a thoroughly delightful experience. The beds are mattresses on the floor, so bear that in mind, but it was clean, new, comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely superb! I also only chose this location because it was roughly halfway between Pai and Chaing Rai, but was pleasantly surprised by the food that was available in the nearby main street, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the chedi on the hill overlooking the town, which was lovely.

We booked a Deluxe Room and it was actually an entire bungalow for 539 baht. The room is huge, there’s a massive bathroom and a connected covered carport. Room has a large bed, fridge freezer and excellent WiFi. Very friendly owner too and easy to find with good signage. Highly recommended.

The view is beautiful over 80% of what you can see, the rooms are pretty, clean, and fun. Overall about 4/5 of the pictures posted online. There are a few ugly area that you can see. Receptionist are nice. No breakfast. Nothing to do close to this area.
