The location is just stunning. The field of flowers as you drive in and the wood housings around the pond made it a picturesque evening. There is not a lot to do beyond the property by foot, but it’s a great stop for a road trip. The restaurant next to it, just 50 meters up the road, had a selection of traditional dishes that were all delicious.

Excellent room, open air shower etc
They were very kindly prepared to delay my breakfast so I could go to the park early and come back after usual breakfast time would have ended.

We loved our 1 night stay here. Fairly easy to get to from the main road through the national park. There were some land slides but they had been cleared from the road. We rode 125 peds and it was an enjoyable ride for us. The property was set in a stunning location and was very well equipped. The bed and bed linen were more comfortable than hotels we have stayed in!! Breakfast was included in the stay and we thought we had missed it (8am and we left our room at 10.30) but we were still made a fresh breakfast of sausage, egg, toast and fruit. There is another homestay with a coffee shop next door if you wanted and an Italian (?!) restaurant a short walk away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, despite being a little chilly in the morning - but it’s at altitude so what did we expect?
