My comments here focus on the room only as I had no time to look around the site or to visit the restaurant. The site was easy to locate and situated very close to Highway 12. The room was of generous size

The hotel was beautifully presented with the rooms surrounding the gorgeous pool. The service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I came with a dog and I was sorted out well with a room on the first floor. The room was spacious and had comfy chairs and a comfy bed. The staff were pleasant. Did not partake in breakfast so can't comment on that but it was included in the price.

Excellent service, location and staff. We were welcomed extremely kindly and helpful. Very nice room, large and very clean. Location super central and convenient to all points of interest. But the highest score is certainly due to the helpfulness and competence of the staff (especially the receptionist!) who helped us a lot, even translating and writing for us a note containing all the allergies - note that is still "saving our lives" in other cities in Thailand (thank you!).

For the price, this is a good option. Its located near to the night street market, which we liked, but the town itself does not have a lot to offer in terms of eating and attractions. The historical area is 12km away, 20 mins in a tuktuk 150 baht..... so if you choose here, plan to spend most of your day in the historical part and eat around there too.
We noted some of the rooms said cleanliness was not up to standard but our room was fine. There was discolouration on the tiles and wear and tear in the bathroom which may give the impression of looking unclean, but it was ok.
The staff are pleasant and helpful, they found us a lovely tuktuk lady who we used to get us around.
If you hire a bike, choose the bike hire on the corner before you enter the historical park, its 30baht. Inside the park they are 4 x the price

We really like to be there. Such a nice and cosy place and the owner takes care in a very good manner of all. His wife is in charge of the carefull and well thought through decorations I guess. The owner also gives very useful tips like for example what would be the best itinary to visit Chiang Mai and include Chiang Rai…

Absolutely amazing hostel. The family working there are incredible, could not have been more accommodating, booking tuktuks whenever and where ever we wanted to go. I was greeted by the full family, and given a delicious cup of tea and then decorated a krathong that was made by the grandma to take to the ancient city that evening. The sons English is very good and can definitely make life much easier!
Surrounded by the garden, TR Guesthouse offers cosy accommodation and free Wi-Fi throughout the residence. Sukhothai Bus Terminal is only 2 km away from the property.

The room was exactly as pictured. The bed was comfortable and large, room was spotless. Location was very good as close to a few good restaurants & a lovely small bar. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our stay.
