Location far from city but just a hop to MRT train and buses - supermarket and 7-eleven very near.
Had one table and chairs and a small couch and a tiny shelf in front of the mirror - that's it!
Not really a deluxe room but luckily it was clean!
Refrigerator, microwave, kettle supplied which was good and big balcony (but no chairs)
Breakfast supplied was ok but had to reheat everything in the microwave in our room - coffee was good.
Friendly staff - could be a great place if they supplied proper furnishings but I guess the owner is too cheap.

What to say about this hotel? Lovely staff. I was made to feel incredibly welcome by all.of them. Suthida, in particular, was a wonderful host. The restaurant is superb.The pool has an amazing view over the river. The rooms are in a beautiful colonial style with great facilities. It was a real find! What many might see as a disadvantage is that it is far from the centre but for me, this was an advantage. I used to take a cab to the nearby passenger ferry stop and take a fascinating ride up the river into the centre of town. If you want to see real bangkok, as opposed to the city centre, this is a great place to stay.

The friendliness on welcoming guests is wonderful. A family run hotel that does everything to make your stay comfortable. Their food is the best I have tasted in Thailand. It is maybe a little old but we all get old. Cleanliness was A plus. This will now be our hotel of choice to stay in whenever in Bangkok.
