We had a nice view from our room. And the breakfast was delicious. We received the Thai and continental breakfast. The staff didn’t speak any English and they used Google translate to communicate and they were very nice.

This place is paradise. Lots of bamboo buildings amidst gardens, fantastic views over hills and mountains. Lots of options at breakfast and for dinner (though for the latter, as in most places, not quite enough vegetarian options). Staff were all very friendly. The location is fairly isolated, but the resort itself is just a wonderful place to relax in a scenic, unpressured environment in the midst of beautiful gardens. Nice experience one day when a horse-riding monk from a nearby monastery turned up to collect offerings and bless the place.

Simon was a great host nothing was ever to much trouble. It was such a peaceful, relaxing 2 nights. The option to have breakfast and dinner there is a must. The food was so good. We was recommended by a friend to go and so glad we did. There was a games room, pool, nature walks so there was always something to do. Will we be returning.

We had a chinese meal at one of the first restaurants on the right side coming into Mae Salong.. Not recommended, but later on we had a wonderful meal at a place called 888. Mae Salong is known for its tea production and we tested many and ended up buying wonderfuk oolong tea to bring home. The temple and chedi are worth visiting
