The hotel is situated in a very desolate (but very safe) area. This means that you are very, very limited in eating and exploring options outside of the hotel as there isn't anything around there. If this is what you want, then this is the place for you. To get to the hotel you have to travel at least 20 minutes down a long and somewhat bumpy dirt road. The food at the restaurant was very good but not anything that I would call gourmet. The room was very clean and spacious. It had a really nice porch where I could see the beach. The beach was completely empty except for me in both directions. The staff was really nice except they don't speak a word of English if that is you primary language.

What we liked the most about this oceanfront house was the beautiful ocean view and we felt safe which was are top priority when we booked. It's gated with security at all times and you have to show proper documentation for entry. The pool area was great and always kept clean. The owners were kind, very responsive and communication was very easy. When we had any issues they resolved it fairly quick.
