The old town character was charming. The staff were friendly. It was a short walk to the trails that lead to the center. The cable car is just around the corner too, if you don't want to walk. I would stay again, wife might want to look somewhere else.

Excellent hotel staff, helped us to get a room we are 100% happy with. The room is spacious and comfortable. The restaurant upstairs is the best in town (does require a reservation.)

Location, location, location! If you have luggage and are arriving by bus, do not attempt to walk to the hotel with your luggage. With a one day notice, the hotel will provide a driver to pick you up and then take you back to the bus station when you leave. The cost is €10 each way per vehicle. For a truly once in a lifetime moment, and if the weather allows, watch the sunset from the Terrace across from the hotel entrance. Get yourself a cocktail or wine from the hotels bar and just take in the scenery and the sunset – a real life marker. We even had leftover pizza and wine on the terrace for dinner one night, as the sun went down. Super romantic. We absolutely loved staying here.

It is immaculate. The rooms are lovely. The pillows are just awful, extremely hard and unyielding. The bed is form but comfort. Lovely interior. Just enough for what I needed. The Agli Antichi Orti restaurant was superb. I hope to return someday to this remarkable country.
