It's so convenient that each room has a bathroom.
It was very convenient as there was a spacious shared kitchen and dining room, and each room had a refrigerator and some cooking utensils.

Picturistic views, apartment were neat and tidy and staff were competent and very kind to us. We visited this apart-hotel for one night only and unfortunately would never back. Some neighboring guests decided to have party very loud, so it was impossible to sleep at night, my daughter waked up time to time by shouting and hammering behind the wall. The drunkenness turned into a fight and, presumably, one woman was injured. All this wasn’t cool.. The soundproof here is rather bad, i should notice. There was a capsuled coffee machine at the kitchen, but there no capsules to buy inside whole hotel. But that’s fine as there is a Lidl at 6-7km vicinity. I’ve read “the quite and soothing place”about this guest house, may be it is, but definitely not here.

We spent a wonderful week in this apartment - it's actually a place we've chosen probably for the fifth time :) Really nice establishment. Additionally, all minor issues reported last time have been fixed - it was great (and as always - too short :) ).

Velka Lomnica is a village bellow High Tatras mountains ideal for stay when visiting the mountains. You can use your car to move around or you can use also local trains operating right to the touristic centers (Smokovec, Polianka, Tatranska Lomnica, Strbske Pleso and so on). In the village you have good options to buy food or to enjoy local gastronomy in restaurants. City of Poprad is just few minutes of driving or a short journey by train.

The village is app 5 minutes drive from the High Tatras. Pleasant, quiet and very affordable. There are some local restaurants for catering, with good choice of menu. We have preferred during our stay the restaurant Salas Goralsky Dvor.

It is a good starting point to discvoer to neighbourhood ( Tatranska Lomncia, Stary Smokovec, Strrbske Pleso). Vel'ka Lomnica is a small and quiet village, with few restaurants. The landsacpe is beautiful with mountains.

You should go here with a personal vehicle. High Tatras will be about 30 minutes away. Main shopping will be 10 minutes away at Poprad. There is a local supermarket if you are looking for food. Main attractions are elsewhere since this is a very small town.

The location of the hotel is very good for people who are traveling by car.
The breakfast is portioned but very good and plenty. The coffee is also good.
You can see the mountains from your room and the cantine as well.
The staff is very kind and helpful.
The bed is big and comfortable, however it's made up two matraces in a common frame.
Water heater, small fridge and hairdryer can be found in your room.
Wonderful small hotel. Very cosy, has kitchen. There is microwave, kettke, small fridge in the room. The room has balcony and is very nicely furnished. Very clean, the bed is comfortable, all devices operate well. Since our stay was in January, it's important that there was very warm in the room. Thank you very much for hospitality)
Kindness of Mrs. Julia and her willingness to help if something wasn't ok. Nice, big balcony. We went for a hike to Rysy which is quite a far from Velka Lomnica - we knew it and privat Julia didn't disappoint us. Everything was clean and up to what we expected.
