For three people we had an apartment-like room with even a small kitchen space that we didn't expect.
The view from the main bedroom windows was also nice. There also was some parking space in the yard that you can reach by ignoring one pedestrian zone sign, there are some exceptions but not in english. The location is perfect for a little stroll around the city centre or up to the castle.

It was very clean, but we had to trade rooms. Our original room had the bed in a loft with very narrow steps. Too dangerous for trips to the toilet at night.

It is a beautiful little town with the castle above it.
It is a beautiful little town with the castle above it. It can be a great Christmas destination, however, it is important to have in mind that the Xmas market ends on Dec 23rd. We were there on a Friday evening and it was very alive with lots of young people. There was not many restaurants, but a few little coffee shops. Very small, but cosy and cute.

The castle is stunning and beautifully restored, spectacular views.The small old town is very atmospheric and the main square has a range of caffees, and cheap fast food option. It is conveniently located with few thermo spas around. Recomended.

Trencin Castle was really beautiful, especially when you had to walk pass by beautiful churches and then walk on natural path in the woods. The view was stunning. I was so relaxed there. The old town was lovely. The only down side was that I couldn’t find Slovak food in the old town.

Klaudia the host was really attentive and friendly, communication was great, the apartment is huge, beautiful, clean and complete with all the necessities. The photos shown are exactly what you’ll get. They even have a beautiful yard to hang out, and ample space for parking (we drove a van and it can fit). Plus point of this place is it’s really near the Trenčín Castle. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it’s a bit unfortunate that it was a short one.
We stayed in the Pension portion, not the hotel, and it is a bit dated but comfortable enough for a few days. The location is perfect, just a block off of the main old square and on the way up to the Trencin castle. The breakfast was pretty good and is presented at an associated restaurant a few minutes walk up the hill from the Pension.
The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. The location was perfect being in Trencin we had a fabulous view of the castle as seen in the photos. The host was very friendly and attentive and quickly answered any questions /supplied extra things to the door very quickly.
The hotel is Lovely and perfect location as just 2 mins walk from the main square. So quite but close to the city life . Not to mention just under the castle.
