It was the more traditional up market hotel and as it was a casino it was there for gamblers. I was hiking and it happens to be on Alpe Adria trail route. So it was very clean and comfortable but little atmosphere

Dobrovo was a very nice area with some nice wineries, highly recommend Edi Simcic ~ Felix was amazingly fun. It was rainy during our stay, so we will unable to do ebikes, however this would be a great activity in better weather. Belvin was a nice restaurant nearby with grilled meats and vegetables, along with salads and pizza. Maravida House is a great Airbnb with a wonderful property (3 rooms) and a very kind and helpful host, Jacob!

The room was bright, modern and plenty of space for 2. Comfy bed and the firmest pillows I’ve ever come across in a hotel (excluding Japan!). Breakfast was a mix of all sorts of plates, served direct to our table on the terrace, from which there was a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the pool for cooling off. Aneja was really helpful organising e-bikes (30 euros per day per person) and helped booking visits to vineyards. We did the peach cycling route from outdoor active which was 24k with a detour to the viewing tower.
Erika is an amazing host, lovely and friendly. She greeted us with kindness and welcomed us with a 5 star dinner she prepared as all restaurants were closed. On top of it, she made us find delicious freshly backed pastries on our door step in the morning. The apartment is Clean, spacious and offers everything ones need to enjoy the stay, plus is located on top of a hill surrounded by the green and beautifull slovenian scenery.. Yet everything is shadowed by Erika top level hosting and loveliness
The hotel is beautiful. The room was great, very spacious. Pool was a fantastic addition and great place to relax.
The wine tasting we did was fantastic. The wine cellar is spectacular and the selections of wines and accompanying snacks were delicious!
As my review 2 days earlier, it's amazing! And I was lucky, there was a double booking so they upgraded me to their even more luxurious hotel down the road. These people are amazing and I wish them all the best.
The house is beautiful. You can tell a lot of love and care is gone into it. The view of the vineyards and the castle of Dobrovo is stunning. Teja and her husband are super sweet!
