From our location we were able to tour Bled on foot and easily walk back to our apartment. There is a walkway around Lake Bled or steps to the Castle; lots of historical sites. Daily walks for Cappuccino, "krofe" and fresh bread. When on roadies, we stocked up on charcuteri board items, wine and beer for picnicking on the way.
Food and Wine pairing is a must at Hotel Triglav in Bled! Highlight of our trip.

First, the Hotel was wonderful and the staff were so kind and helpful! Bled is a beautiful place. We would love to return and spend more time in Bled and Slovenia overall. The Central restaurant was excellent. We did not experience any thing negative. The Bled castle was absolutely beautiful at night for its lit up and spectacular! A visit to Bled is a must see. Getting around in Bled is fairly easy. There are several activities for everyone and the lake is a beautiful site. We believe anyone visiting will not be disappointed at all!

I like the relaxing atmosphere. It's also cool to hike on the trail and have a bird view of the lake.
Cream cake is recommended, in particular to get a seat where to appreciate the lake and the landscape.

Beautiful area with lots to see and do.
Beautiful area with lots to see and do. Looks like a fairy tale and wish we'd had more time to explore and discover the ins and outs of the place. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful row boat that took us to the island and we loved the castle on the hill. The famous dessert at the hotel is one to be sure to catch.

Lake Bled area is beautiful!
Lake Bled area is beautiful! The inclement weather didn’t stop us from enjoying the sights and scenery. Although the area is a tourist attraction, the locals are very welcoming and friendly. I wish I had stayed longer!

Beautiful and walkable town.
Beautiful and walkable town. Friendly locals, many shops and restaurants and a gorgeous and lively waterfront walkway. So many restaurants and bars it's difficult to choose. Easy to get around town on foot, very safe area. I was travelling on my own and did not feel unsafe at any point. There IS a bit more traffic than I was expecting, but it is a tourist area. The boat ride to Bled Island was a highlight, and Vintgar Gorge is a must see.

Hotel Triglav is a beautifully restored and decorated old hotel situated on the far side of Lake Bled with spectacular views across the lake to the town of Bled itself. Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the food served at breakfast was exceptional. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our second evening, the dinner was also exceptional, but you are then paying for a Michelin rated taster menu. The pool and spa underneath the hotel were superb, with relaxation areas looking over the lake.
Lovely hotel in a great central location for Lake Bled, staff were warm and welcoming. Room was lovely, with an entrance area and bathroom which made the room feel more spacious. Breakfast was good and we received a lovely little gift from the hotel when we checked out.
The breakfast and dinner were both brilliant. Excellent quality. The entire hotel was extremely clean. The saunas are a MUST do experience. Staff lovely and super helpful. The view was insane - so beautiful. Lake Bled and Slovenia in general has blown us away!
Location was perfect with pletna boats leaving for Bled Island opposite the hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Amazing view of the lake. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast.
