Loved this place! Interesting theme, decor, cozy, public spaces, breakfast, location. Especially enjoyed the room decor; very homey and looked like a private home where I'd be staying with friends. Would have loved spending more time here.

Breakfast, good, Spa, AMAZING! This is a definate do again... more than i expected. I was not able to book a Spa treatment, but it turned out i did not need one, because there is so much to relax you in the basic package.

Amazing Spa, the Hotel has a unique layout with beautiful, cosy areas to have a drink or have your meal that you ordered from the Bistro... which i highly recommend. We tried the resturant the first night and was not overwhelmed so decided to try the Bistro the 2nd night for dinner, we asked if we could eat the meal in one of the cosy areas on the first floor and they said of course and even brought it to us.

Varberg is a very cosy town with parks and a fortress, but...
Varberg is a very cosy town with parks and a fortress, but also the city enter is vey nice with cobble stone streets, and many shops situated in old buildings. The harbour area is especially nice, lots of old buildings and great cafes.
And then there are the two spa hotels, one in the center of town, the other a 15 minute walk along the beach path. A must see!

A small but rapidly growing town of rural Sweden, worth going during summer and biking, swimming, feeling its somehow vibrant residents! Not so easy to find good food but its sufficient, having a lot of distance escapes.

Nice beach in Apelviken, but can be quite crowded. They have places to rent SUP, windsurfing equipment. Getterön nature reserve is beautiful if you want some quiet time by the sea. The fortress is nice to visit, with beautiful viewpoints of the sea and sunset. Nice naked beach for women Skarpe Nord, but there are lots of seaweed, so not very nice to bathe.
Location, close walking to town square, beaches, parks. Easy to access, easy to find. Free parking infront of the hotel and free parking (with parking disk) almost everywhere in town.
Quiet hotel (our door was a bit noisy, it kept rattling in the frame). Perfect place for a family who want to be close to activities and want good traditional Swedish cuisine. (Though if you are a foodie, go to a restaurant instead).
