Very nice location near water stream but with no noise at all thanks to the windows. Super large room with period furniture and nice grammophone. Quiet breakfast room. Surprise surprise... for both days we were there we have been provided with sandwiches for free (and chips, and drinks, and candies).

The surroundings are beautiful but close to the hotel a bit worn down. The staff meeting me was very nice and polite. Nice comfortable bed and warm covers ( needed!)

The location is fantastic, right on the Göta Canal. Lots of cultural and industrial history. Lovely old buiildings and tow paths to walk along. Mallboden has a thriving cafe business, but it closes early so does not disturbe one's sleep.
