This hotel has a wonderful view of the lake, as it sits higher on the hill than any other hotel in Tallberg. Our room had wonderful views of the entire lake, and since it was mid June, we had beautiful sunrise and sunset views—all day (and almost all night) long. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good.

LOVE this place! Wish we had booked for a longer period of time.
Beautiful location overlooking Lake Siljan. There is safe access to the water at the lakeside. Tallberg comprises mainly hotels and private residences so there is not a lot to do there, but it is extremely relaxing and probably much busier in high season. June is a great time to visit. Road links to nearby Rattvik and Leksand are good and there are many restaurants and shops in both towns. Rattvik is a lively place.
Tallberg is an ideal base to explore the Dallarnas region and not far to pop into Norway should you choose

Tällberg is a very cute, small town with relaxing restaurants and views. There is a small lake bath where you can go swimming. The view over lake Siljan is stunning. A lot of handcraft and good food, but expect it to be a bit pricey.
A beautiful spot to stay and an excellent hotel.
Our room was in an annexe, and it did not rain so we could walk to the main building
We had not booked a time for dinner, and did not want to eat late. So we went to Rätvik for a quick meal. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the dining room is beautiful.
The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The hotel has a nice location with an amazing view. The rooms were nice, clean and quiet, but the family was a little small.
