After I complained about the room in the Börsen Annex, I was given a standard double room in the main hotel building, including breakfast (free of charge). The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast options were varied and appropriate for travellers with various dietary requirements.
Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details.

The room was very modern with a nice bathroom and rain shower. Great that there are bikes for hire (could be more modern bikes or a lower cost, not great value for money there) and of course the location is amazing right in the center of Visby. Lovely small roof terrace with a great view of the sea at sunset.
