We stayed for 2 nights in 2 different types of rooms. Queen room was awesome! Standard room was okay. Breakfasts and spa with hot sauna and pool were incredible good! Also we requested a crib and there were no problems with it. All in all, we liked the stay and the time we spent in Scandic Backadal.

This is a very nice hostel in a stunning location on a hill overlooking the castle. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a shower in our private room. The kitchen was very clean and the dining area had a lovely wooden table. Breakfast was included making this a great deal.

The hotel is modern, has a well-equipped kitchen, rooms are air conditioned and windows cannot be opened. Nothing for a person feeling bad from an enclosed space.
