This was the absolute cutest hotel we’ve stayed in! A beautiful small town and historic hotel. Room is spacious, bed is comfy, staff are friendly, and breakfast is delicious! It gets hot at night but you can leave the window open without noise. Free parking as well.

Säffle is a lovely place to visit, and from all reports, to live. My ancestors have roots here, as well as current family members. This has become one of my favorite places in Sweden, and that is saying a lot.
We had been travelling for several hours and found the hotel on booking.com when it was quite late, arrived around after 8 and pleased to be able to have a drink at the bar and a good meal before a good nights sleep, it was a great stop over, we walked along the river and found the history of the area very interesting with lots of information boards and photos of days gone by, would be a nice place to spend a few days. Good food, fabulous breakfast, spotless room, would choose a First Hotel again, staff pleasant.
Charming hotel – interestingly decorated ground-floor rooms in the main house, comfortable lounge in the annex building, quietness (there were very few other guests when we stayed though), views over the Byälven river, easy parking, walking distance to town centre (approx. 25 mins), friendly manager.
the hotel is beautiful, an old manor with great decor and a wonderful garden to the lake. The area where the hotel is located is not great, but it doesn't matter you don't walk around.Breakfast is served in the dinning room, again a wonderful place, and it was very good.
