Lund is a lovely city with a variety of restaurants and interesting historical buildings . It is easy to walk around and attractions include the botanic gardens which are worth a visit. There are very good rail connections to Malmo and Copenhagen airport or North to Helsingborg where I would recommend a visit to the Sofiero gardens and buildings.
I have chosen to stay here twice whilst visiting my son and daughter in law who live in Malmo

Lund is a compact university town with many old buildings and very picturesque - very strong Wes Anderson vibe to the colours of the buildings and very photogenic. The cathedral, museums and parks are all definitely worth a visit and all absolutely walkable. If you are flying, the usual route is to Copenhagen and then come across the Oresund Bridge. Unless you are planning a road trip round that part of Sweden, don't bother with car hire - get the train, it's much cheaper, very clean, modern and efficient and the train station in Lund is right at the bottom of the old centre, so convenient for a lot of the hotels. Lund is not a great place to have a car anyway. Day trips to Copenhagen are a breeze by train.

Lund is a great place for students looking for a vibrant and historic city or tourists wanting a beautiful and safe base to explore the region.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of Lund, some 15 minutes walking from university and 20-25 form the main railway station. Our room was quite spacious, there was TV set, kettle, two mugs, instant coffee and teabags. An iron was available as well. The room was quiet - windows facing the garden. Breakfast as well as dinner were included. Both were quite tasty - I can recommend it. The room was not very expensive.
Check-in went smooth. Staff helped us changing rooms as someone had been smoking in our allocated room.
Room was spacious, had a little kitchenette and watching machine and was very clean.
The centre of Lund could be easily reached. Also well located for the Øresund bridge between Denmark and Sweden.
I boked 2 rooms as I was travelling to Vimmerby Sweden from Germany. The plan was to stay a night in Lund. I couldn't reach on that day so I asked to re book. And it was done. So happy with the service
