We had a beautiful 10 day stay at the lodge. The lodge is located at the end of a small, rocky forest road. It is well-equipped with very new and perfectly clean rooms, and it has a nice, large terrace with a beautiful view over a clearing in the beautiful landscape. You can even do a barbecue on the terrace. The hosts are living next door so you get an absolutely quiet vacation in the nature without being completely isolated in the Swedish woods.
The place is ideal for activities such as hiking in the beautiful nature reserve nearby, discovering the lovely skerries (about 45-60 minutes drive) or doing some sightseeing in the charming city of Gothenburg.
We would strongly recommend a car for a stay at the lodge.

Kungalv is a lovely place to visit with the river and fortress. There are some small independant shops with a bigger supermarket at the end of the village. I stayed at the Fars Hatt hotel but I would advise you look elswhere if you are planning on staying. There are ample bus services ar regular intervals.

The B en B is located on an hill near Kungalv. It is an big terrain with several bungalows. When you pick up your key at the reception they provide you an map with clear route information. My bungalow had 6 rooms with 2 showers and 2 toiletts. Everything was very clean except for some hairs on one of the chairs in my room. Behind the reception desk there is an beautiful view point from which you look straight to Fort Bohus and on the right you have a river very nice to sit here in the evening and see the sun set over the river.
NFK is the right location for those who are looking for being close to Göteborg/Kungalv but still closer to the nature. It is only few minutes walk down the hill to the bus which takes you to Göteboerg in 20 minutes or so.
The breakfast is served in the same manner as in the last 50 years.
The brekfast and the staff were rhe redeeming features of the hotel, although the food was adequate, it could have been hotter for the cooked option.
The staff were very friendly and opologetic which is a shame they have to be.
