Very picturesque setting and developed for touists with shops and restaurants in a historical setting. the hotels range from luxurious to good so it was a bit of a surprise to find Järvsö so developed
The restaurant was splendid for both breakfast and evening meal. Given that we were not really there to use the fitness facilities which are the main focus of the hotel, but rather to see the zoo, which 15 minutes drive away, we really did appreciate the laid-on transport. The minibus from and to the railway station was, I gather, standard service but also we were given a complimentary lift to and from the zoo, which was, as I say, much appreciated.
I had to make an unplanned overnight stay at Järvsö and JBP hotel proved the most convenient option. It is located right by the ski slope and is aimed at skiers and mountain bikers, which is evident in the design. The hotel itself is planned like a typical resort hotel. The restaurant is very stylish and has a hipster vibe about it. Overall, a very pleasant hotel!
The apartment was very modern and had pretty high standard with all the necessities. Just 2 km to nearest supermarket, Järvsöbacken skislope and the zoo Vildriket. The separate common entertainment room in the cellar is pretty useful if you want to watch movie while the kids are asleep.
Cosy accommodation with clean facilities and a kitchen which is equipped with everything for your stay. If you are there for skiing, there is a bus scheduled to bring you to Järvsöbacken for free (2023). There is even a drying cabin in the accommodation for your skiing stuff.
Good hotel for three stars. Cosy rooms and public areas. Breakfast was ok. Named seats/tables for breakfast - at least one time. For second breakfast there wasn't any - weird. Wonder why.
