Wonderful hotel rooms and restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and nature only 20 minutes from Västerås. The staff were very friendly and professional. I can highly recommend the property.
We had a lovely time in Mari's cottage in Vallby, surrounded by beautiful gardens, in a very peaceful area.
We enjoyed walking from the cottage, along tracks and quiet roads.
There was lots to do locally. Our son fished near Koffsan Badplats. We had a good lunch at Mel's Garage in Enkoping and strolled round the many beautiful parks in town. We swam at Appelnasgrundet in Harjaro nature reserve and were excited to see a moose as we left the nature reserve! We visited some of the amazing Bronze age rock carvings.
Very nice place - central, comfy, with the best breakfast and super nice staff. The Booking.com had sold us a room that was not available. And the hotel was fully booked for the night. After many calls and long minutes on the phone the guy at the reception was able to give us a room after all. Instead of a twin we got a double room which, in our case, was what we actually wanted in the first place.
The room was quiet and very comfortable.
Even the lobby was very cosy and I spent some time there after check-out.
We loved this charming countryside hotel at a horse farm, 5-10 minutes away from the motorway. The room was large and well-appointed and seems to be new or newly renovated. Contrary to what another reviewer wrote, we did NOT notice any disagreeable smells from the barn. We enjoyed the vast property and it's paths for our dog walks as well as greeting the horses and chickens.
