It is a surprising place, quiet and clean. My room was very comfortable and spacious. I could come back every summer.

The owners were very helpful with vegan breakfast options. We wrote in advance to ask if they have anything available and they had bought special options for us such as plant yoghurt, and vegan cheese and vegan ham. Very nice home-baked bread too.
Good location close to Byxelkrok harbour and everything there is to see around the northern tip of Øland.
Excellent location with a breathtaking view on the sea. Kjell is very available to make your stay comfortable. The apartment is located right in the center of the small town of Byxelkrok and had everything you need, even the basics for cooking which is useful when you stay only one night.
I was walking from Kalmar to Lange Erik and this was my last stop before going back. The place is quiet and nice and the beach is only few minutes away. You also can go to the lighthouse Lange Erik (a few km away) and to the bigger vilage Byxelkrok with a lot of restaurants.
