The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Although there was little interaction with the staff, the staff was very friendly when we interacted. There's a really cosy and homely vibe. The location is ideal, it's a short walk to the centre, across the street there's a supermarket and there's private parking. It was really easy to get out of town with our car.

Simple, but good breakfast. The bathroom was excellent, with beautiful blue tiles. There were two easy chairs in the room, and the room had a good size.
We enjoyed our stay at the Fr
oya timber cottage very much. We found everything necessary in the house. The area is beautiful and perfect to relax. A plus was certainly the lake and the location in nature. We felt very welcome. The neighbors were super friendly. Arvika is the ideal base for numerous excursions.
Hotel was fully booked. Breakfast disorganised. When we woke up in the morning, there was no electricity in the communal spaces including the bathrooms. Elevator was out of order for at least 2-3 hours. Multiple blankets in our room had stains of blood.
Old fashioned hotel, charming and conveniently located. Easy access, room ready in advance, staff was helpful and kind. Decent breakfast, room was warm. good value for one night. Feels familial and cosy, like sleeping at grandma’s.
A nice 100+ years old building, not a standard hotel cube. The stained glass window at the staircase is wonderful. Good breakfast buffet and very friendly staff.
