A small town to stay a few days. We were a bit tired from our previous travels, so it was a good stop to have a rest. There were lots of attractions for my daughter to play around, so we enjoyed it all

Novi Pazar is a vivid city that lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is famous for its diversity of cultures, nationalities, customs, delicious food, hospitable and tollerant people, etc. With its very well-known places of interest such as Petrova church (7th century), Djurdjevi Stupovi and Sopoćani monasteries (12th and 13th centuries) nearby Novi Pazar and old mosques in the heart of the city, from which some of them is more than 500 years old, Novi Pazar and surroundings become inevitably important tourist attraction worth visiting at any time of the year!

Interesting small town with oriental spirit. Friendly people everywhere. Tasty traditional food (mantias-meat or cheese filled pastries, pie with potatoes, variety of cheeses, fresh vegetables and fruits). Very close to UNESCO world heritage sites like Monastery Sopocani and Stari Ras, Monastery Dzurdzevi stupovi. Also managable day trips with public transport to The Meanders of Uvac and Milesheva Monastery, also to Studenica and Zica Monasteries.

Novi Pazar is a very interesting city which offers a lot to visitors. I recommend visiting many Serbian orthodox churches and monasteries which date to the founding of the Serbian state back in the 10th and 11th century. City itself is clean, well organized and vibrant. I loved the fact that no matter what time you were out, streets were always full of people.

As socialist architecture enthusiasts, we travelled to Novi Pazar exclusively to overnight at the Vrbak. The place didn’t let us down at all. Interiors are as crazy as exteriors: the hall is a silent, ginormous, majestic greenhouse with tons of plants hanging from the balconies, a huge fountain in the middle, and soft lighting all around.
Staff is very kind and professional and also allowed us to take tons of photos around. Buffet breakfast is good, varied, and rich. Free private parking, fast WiFi.
Excellent location right by the river and right in town. Lovely bar by the river. Big clean room and bathroom. Proper duvet on the bed. Good WiFi. Friendly and helpful staff. Novi Pazar was much nicer than I expected. Well worth a stop.
