We have spent a few wonderful days in Slănic Prahova two weeks ago.
Pensiunea Deceneu offers beautifully designed accommodations, with nice clean rooms, and a very pleasant fenced-in yard.
The food was very tasty, prepared on site from fresh locally sourced ingredients, and we were impressed by the owners, who were very friendly and helpful with every request we had.
The location is very close to everything we wanted to visit in Slanic. The closed-in private yard is perfect having an outdoor picnic, or just relaxing. Safe parking is also available.

This is very green area, relatively close to Bucharest, perfect for weekend escapes after work or for quick "battery" recharge. It is not on the fancy side, but the people are nice in the area. Should you wish, you can easily connect to the rural area starting with the local market or driving 15 -20 km from the city.
