We were amazed by the general quality of the things in Praid. The salt mine is wonderful, there are excellent restaurants, a great bakery(Sandor) where one can buy high quality products, very nice B&B available, and everybody around is nice and helpful.

The salina was the highlight of our trip.
The salina was the highlight of our trip. Inside the salina there is an adventure park for the joy of kids and grownups. A day in the salina is great for your lungs and for fun. There are plenty of food shops and good restaurants, we pick Csatari for its local cuisine. The staff is excellent and the food delicious.
We can't recommend Praid enough for a family trips and not only. You can definitely find great adventures in the surroundings.

If you are in the area it would be a good ideea to visit the salt mine. There are games inside, you could have a snack or drink some tea/coffee or evend a glass of wine :) It is a fun place to spend with your children.
Also, I recommend having a burger or chicken at the Elemozsia Burger Bar :) Delicious!

I liked the that the hotel was quiet and clean. The facilities were well maintained and working during our short weekend stay. There was a large amount of pools and spas and the hotel has a large outdoor area.
The staff were polite and there when you needed them and not in your face when you didn’t.
Continental breakfast was diverse and enjoyable, there were food options for everyone. I liked their egg omelette, breaded egg and pickles cucumber and red peppers.
Location was excellent as it's literally 5 minutes from the salt mine and the town center.we have been to Praid before and after visiting Turda as well I can honestly say Praid is so much better.
