The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay here. The meals were good (I had supper and breakfast there). The room was comfortable quiet and clean. WIFI was good. Public transport and shopping (Kaufland) were close by.

Oradea is an art deco gem well worth visiting. The city is rather compact and can be visited on foot in 2-3 days. Many beautiful buildings, freshly renovated, rich history, amazing food and restaurants. Very pedestrian friendly, green and clean. I recommend the City Center, Piata Unirii, The Black Eagle Palace, Parcul Libertatii, The Darvas La Roche House, The Baroque Complex, The Moskovits Miksa Palace, The Oradea Fortress, the Moon Church and lovely strolls along the Crisul Repede River. Be sure to have a meal in Piata 9 Cetate (piata9.ro) and also in London Brothers Burgers (londonbrothers.ro). And of course, the unbeatable, delicious pastries in Dorbob (dorbob.ro)

I was here long time ago like 2004.
I was here long time ago like 2004. It was change a lot and restoration of those magnificent fecade was fabulous. The plaza itself was so mesmerising and so cool to sit with lots of benches around. Many coffee shop and restaurant around so no worries. Love Oradea will be back when I can.

Oradea is a gem. Secession and Art Nouveau buildings (Black Eagle), churches, pedestrian walks, the citadel, the riverside walk, the Synagogue, the Darvas-LaRoche villa, the Theater, the people, the atmosphere...everything is a fairytale! Go see yourself!

The center is large and surprisingly interesting ( for a relatively small city).
Ornate churches, a new Catholic Cathedral, a modern imposing synagogue and an older historical one.
The Citadel is still in the midsts of restoration, but worthwhile walking.
Had a "happy hour" break at Piata8 at the Citadel.
Enjoyed typical Romanian food outdoors at "Hanul cu noroc"

Oradea is a little gem, a city with architectural treasures that everybody can admire. It's surprising that more foreign tourists haven't discovered this beautiful city. There are also good places to eat out and to have fun with children. Good public transportation.

August 2023 when we were here everywhere is construction.
Dusty and old city. Not so many tourists and not a lively city, felt weird.
A good point to go to Hungary.
A great perk of staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Oradea is its location right next to the Nymphea swimming and thermal pool, which adds a wonderful relaxation option. It’s a perfect spot if you're looking to unwind.
The room was spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed and great amenities. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was attentive. A great choice for a comfortable stay in Oradea.
The apartment was very clean and nice. Location is really good: walking distance from city center, in a quite area. Space is very well organised. We had everything we needed.
Pleasently surprised the apartment has some books describing buildings and the architectonical style of Oradea's palaces which come were handy when visiting. Also saw books and toys for children. Lovely place that I totally recommend!
Spacious room, clean, modern. Only Breakfast is available. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet had a good variety of products. Parking: 3 places in the inner courtyard and 2 in front of the hotel. Additional parking places can be found on the street next to the hotel. 5-7 min to city center by car.
Easy check-in, the owner made sure we got in and that everything was OK. The place is nicely furnished and clean, with access to a shared garden. Very close to the city center and restaurants. The Oradea Citadel is 1 km away, or 10 minutes on foot. Parking space available for free at the weekend.
