The place, the people, the surrounding nature, the gorgeous Monastery across the street (Izvoru Muresului - definitely worth visiting, especially if you're not a Romanian national, as you might not have this kind of beauty in your country :)), the awesome, awesome good restaurants near by, super tasty food, very large portions and extremely cheap prizes. The location is remote enough to be relaxing and peaceful, but also close enough to Balan city to be able to order from a restaurant directly at the cabana.
Cleanliness was spot on, the hosts were very helpful and kind and offered a lot of assistance. The location has amazing spa facilities that you can use 24/7 if you want. The amenities inside are out of this world, you have everything that you could think of, including bear spray if you want to venture into the forest.
Cannot recommend this place more, and I will be making a reservation another time in a heartbeat.

No recommended restaurant in the nearby. We drove 35 minutes to find a decent one. Great location for doing day trips to Red Lake, Cheile Bicazului, caves, hiking or just relaxing! The area is really clean and quiet!
