The property is charming. So much love has gone into building and decorating everything. Victoria and Victor are wonderful hosts. Everything was very clean. The nights were so quiet. Fully stocked kitchen to do your own cooking. Best of all, we asked if we could pay to have them make everyone a bbq dinner on our last night and it was the best time we had in our one month in Romania. Wonderful family atmosphere even though only one guest spoke English -we had such a great time. Music, homemade wine, food, games, dancing and laughter. Fabulous stay with fabulous hosts.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found the breakfast experience quite disappointing. Not only was the selection very limited, but I felt like I was constantly being watched. It was as if they were worried I might take an extra slice of bread.
I was in a rush and wanted to take my tea with me in a thermos, but an employee appeared out of nowhere to tell me that wasn't allowed—I had to drink it on-site. It felt like there was a "tea police" watching over me.
Overall, the hotel’s strict approach to a very basic breakfast made the experience far less enjoyable. If you need a flexible morning routine, this might not be the best place to stay.
