The property is located literally a step away from the train platform (yet perfectly sound-insulated), and this is why I chose it. Access is by card-key which you get at the bar-reception downstairs. The lady waited for me and was very helpful. The interior is secured and very cozy.
I appreciated in particular the *very* comfortable pillows, with two options (not usual in country hotels around here), the toiletries available (including dental sets), without asking, the fact that everything was quiet in spite of railway-side windows, and the superb bathroom (walk-in shower with good pressure, and huge).
In the morning they do not have sit-down breakfast, but they do have a self-serve coffee-fruit-and croissant station in the hall which was a very nice touch and more than enough. The inter-urban bus station is literally on the other side, in front of the entrance, so I was off in a giffy.
I will return!

Buzau is a great place if you wish to be close to Bucharest but far enough to explore the area. It was a mid stop for us before we visited Snagov Monastery. The neighbourhood is buzzing with life and plenty of places to unwind.

Nice small town with easy access to everything you might need. The park is something else with a beautiful lake and a terraced bar / restaurant too. I would only say that Brits should stay away, especially those that follow Farage and/or voted for Brexit. You can't have your cake and eat it too - this place is too good for you.

The city was under construction period so we couldn't walk around and see the city.
We had lunch and dinner at Bistro Junior and Rigo restaurant and enjoyed our meals.
The apartment we stayed was well taken care and cosy.In the center of the city and yet not noisy at all.

Buzău is a „work in progress”.
Buzău is a „work in progress”. Some beautiful buildings, but not a „touristic” city. The area has a lot of natural attractions (go to Pâclele Mari and Pâclele Mic to see the „mud volcanoes”).
To eat: try first restaurant Moara Drăgaicelor, you won't look for another one.

Such a nice place to spend your holiday in Buzau. Very clean, lovely staff, all the facilities included, quiet, safety seemed to be very important for them as they had a gate that they were closing during the night and only people that had a card were able to open it. Also, It's such a good location as It's very close to the train station and it has a bar in the reception. Very satisfied, would highly recommend to anyone! I would give more than 10 stars if I could.
The apartment is pretty big and clean. The parking is secure and the silence is wonderfull. Also, you get a big terrace. Would recommend the location 10/10 if you're driving a car, the location is outside Buzau town. The host was a very polite gentleman!
