The swimming pool and the view were the highlight of our stay. The water in the pool is WARM, it's such a pleasant experience. The mountain view from our room was breathtaking as well. Everything was clean and orderly. The staff is courteous. The meals were nice and had a home cooked touch to them, nothing fancy,just good simple comforting food.
The Fortuna Eco - Boutique Hotel in Băile Tușnad is located in green surroundings between the Harghita and Bodoc mountains. All rooms have a balcony and beds with orthopaedic mattresses.

Not a good destination unless you are there for spa treatment. There is almost nothing else to do except for couple of experiences which usually are not available as there are too few people around. Bear presence is extremely likely which makes hiking impossible.

Very nice location, surrounded by mountains and forest, coming from the city you feel like you can really breathe.
Very close to main tourist attractions like Sfanta Ana Lake, Balvanyos springs, Miercurea Ciuc.
Hanul Secuiesc was a good recommendation for having lunch or dinner and we had a great time at Bowling Pub one evening.
The town is not very well maintained, a lot of ruined buildings and quite dirty on some places.
Often visited by bears, so you need to be aware, especially after dark.

Smallest city in Romania, with a lot of mineral warer springs, places to hike and visit and in an easily reachable location.
Very clean and fresh mountain air, a clean city that helps one recharge their batteries.
Great food location at Hanul Secuiesc and a friendly staff.

It's a nice place to visit.
It's a nice place to visit. Unfortunately, everywhere you can see (and feel) the lack of investments in infrastructure. We ate at Anna and Fortuna restaurants. We clearly recommend Fortuna as the best choice for eating, delicious food, quiet place and great view. Some restaurants are closed or don't have enough personnel to properly work due to COVID pandemic, so always check if they are open or if they have free tables. Otherwise, it's difficult to find a place to eat.

Our accommodation was great, but the resort itself is tiny...
Our accommodation was great, but the resort itself is tiny and hasn’t been upgraded much, apparently. There weren’t any opportunities for activities or entertainment. There were only two restaurants we could go to and everything (even the minimarket and the gas station) closes early. This is a good overnight option if you’re on your way to some other destination, or if you have a car and are planning to spend your day in the area. Otherwise, Baile Tusnad itself is not a destination we recommend.

We had a very nice stay there. The place has beautiful surroundings in the nature, perfect for relaxation. Even though it is not a hotel, just rooms, they had a helpful staff member helping us with the check-in. The lobby had free water, coffee, and tea, which was nice. We called and asked for extra pillows, and in 10 minutes someone arrived with a heap of pillows for us to choose from. Our room was very clean and had lovely decor. They have a terrace full of plants where you can enjoy nature in any weather.
The location of the hotel was great, in the mountains. The hotel staff is always there and very kind and helpful, so I can get help anytime. The sight from the room was amazing, and the food in the restaurant is delicious.
The room was really nice, and the whole vibe of the hotel is great. There’s not much stays like this, and it’s good to have one, and in such a nice environment.
