Amazing mix of antique and modern stay! Rooftop! Wirlpool! Felt honestly as if I was visiting the parents of a friend 😄 Isabel the caring, active and chatty mother and Fernando, the man of few words but a big heart and friendly smile 😁 Both people with such a big heart and friendliness. And although I didn’t speak any portugese (but a little bit of spanisch and french)Isabel and I were talking and laughing for hours. Great stories and also very educative about Portugal! :) Very relaxed and not at all intrusive. Just stay there, do what you like and be happy :)
The only things people who visit should know is: It is a very very rural area a little remote in the mountains. So perfect for a quiet stay and light hiking :) The next village with restaurants etc nearby is quickly reached by car maybe about 20 minutes. Oh and reception is not very strong out there, however they have excellent WLAN, so don’t worry :)

Very central location, close to bus station if you are arriving by bus. Anna our host was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and plenty of room. There is a shared kitchen in the guesthouse which was very well equipped.

Huge house in amazing surroundings. We had the whole place for ourselves, and had plenty of opportunities for both relaxing and doing sports on the playground.
We played tennis, football, basketball etc.

It was quite a surprise, the space was very comfortable and cosy.
Very nice decoration.
It's near S. Pedro do Sul, so an excelente alternative to the hotels there.
The surroundings are also more beautiful than i was expecting, in special the small city Vouzela and the tracking of the Rios e Levadas in Oliveira de Frades.

This is a well appointed boutique hotel in an architect designed renovated historical building in lovely surroundings. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean
Authentic features throughout the hotel. Beautiful breakfast room and nice choice. Also fresh sumo de laranja and local cakes with explanation from a cooking book. Great eye for detail and guests.
