The staff and management at this property couldn’t be more friendly, professional and exceptional. We had a little hiccup with our room and they went above and beyond to not only rectify it but more than make up for it. We are now huge fans and will always return to this hotel when we go to the Algarve. The location is fantastic, the views amazing and the spa was super. We loved everything.

Very good quality restaurants, even the ones right on the Harbourside, and many specialising in fish - the Portuguese think their fish is better than that caught in the Mediterranean and maybe they are right. Be ready for a hard sell by the restaurateurs as you pass by, however. It seems as though every hour is a happy hour!
If you want to visit other parts of the Algarve then a hire car is to be recommended because there is limited public transport. The 2x16 hole family mini golf resort is well worth a visit and at worst a short taxi ride away. A walk along the seafront to Quarteira is worthwhile and a visit to the Roman/Moorish museum while there
is interesting.

The marina is busy and worth a visit, best restaurant by far was 'Rumaria' at the Domes Lake end of the marina, so a short walk from the Hotel. Walked round to the other end of the marina to 'Purobeach club' nice music vibe but expensive beds. Falesia beach is beautiful with several beach bars. We did a trip to Loule, a lovely little town worth a visit. Use Uber as they are plentiful and cheap.

Wonderful restaurants!
Wonderful restaurants! Delicious food and lovely ambiance in all places visited, especially in the area behind the Marina.
Favourite restaurants included The Fish Shack, Don Alfonso, Retino, Nija, Sal & Fozo. Steak, lamb and fish dishes all delicious and of course Monkfish Cataplaner.
Local beaches all well cared for.
Loved the Marina, to sit outside and people and boat watch, peaceful and scenic

I have been going to Vilamoura for several years mainly due to the location only 25 minutes from Faro airport and close to the beach, bars and restaurants. You don’t really need a car unless you want to go to places other than Vilamoura as everything is in walking distance.

Love Vilamoura so much to see and do.
Love Vilamoura so much to see and do. The Old Village was amazing. All facilities included even several pools. Some enclosed and we had one just up 5 steps from where we were staying. Plenty of choices for food and entertainment.

Villamoura was beautiful, nice walks, nice shops, nice restaurants. The Harbour was very interesting and some beautiful yachts etc. I will return to Villamoura. It was very clean and I felt safe at all times.
The setting of the hotel was just perfect stunning grounds which were immaculately maintained yet close to the beautiful Marina and all that has to offer .
The breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen with a huge selection for every taste including avocado and honey comb. The staff were amazing , friendly attentive and nothing was too much trouble . Chocolates and a birthday cake were a lovely unexpected treat too.
This is the perfect property for a family or group of friends stay in Vilamoura. 3 mins walk to the marina, close to gorgeous beaches. 3 fantastic sized bedrooms with storage. 2 full bathroom huge living area & big balcony. The host was so helpful and his communication was excellent. The pool area was very quiet and pool lovely & refreshing.
Fab location being on the marina & beach. Pool area lovely & spacious, waiter service around the pool & staff there were excellent. An abundance of sunbeds. Enjoyed the food at pool bar, Italian & Purobeach although sunbeds on the beach there are very pricey even as a hotel guest.
Very central to everything.. beach . Marina .. shops .. restaurants.. our waiter, Aneil is the best waiter any hotel could be lucky to have .. we were very well looked after by him ..
Great location next to the beach and a short walk to the marina. Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and very clean. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Best breakfast ever!
